FACT SHEET

1987
Zero Spot Laundry Service Ltd was registered. It started by servicing and outsourcing the laundry cleaning to operators.

1989
With a start-up capital of thirty thousand dollars, Zero Spot set up its first plan at Tampines 93 with a build-in area of 900 square feet. The work force was expanded to 7, including the business owners.

1992
To cope with the overwhelming sales, Zero Spot moved to a bigger plant with build-in area of 1,200 square feet. The workforce was increased to 20s. With the expanded capacity, sales revenue increased by 200% 15 months later.

1994
To cope with increased sales volume, Zero Spot moved to a new plant with build-in area of 2,400 square feet. After relocated to the new plant for 18 months, a separate unit is acquired to accommodate the increase of business volume.

1997
To meet the increased in business volume, Zero Spot moved to a new plant of 16,000 square feet. With larger space and new machineries brought in, efficiency was further enhanced. Product finishes were enhanced and better customer service.

1998
Zero Spot invested S$1.2 million to purchase its first batch washer to cater to enhance its production capability and productivity.

1999
Implemented Quality Management System ("QMS"). The QMS was assessed as conforming to the requirement of ISO 9001:2000.

2005
A new plant of 70,000 square feet was acquired to accommodate expanded business needs. A new state-of-art batch washer complete with conveyor belts and other laundry machineries were imported to enhance workflow efficency.
